Jaipur: All the schools, colleges, coaching centres, gyms, multiplexes and theatres in Jaipur and across Rajasthan will remain closed till March 30 as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Though the pre-scheduled exams at schools and college have not been cancelled by the government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rajasthan chief minister\nAshok Gehlot took a decision in this regard after holding a meeting with senior\nmedical and health department officials. Other events such as Music in the Park,\nshows and theatre plays have also been suspended during this period. The directions\nwill be effective in all cities and towns of Rajasthan including Udaipur,\nJodhpur, Kota and Ajmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gehlot said that medical and nursing colleges will not be\naffected by this order. He requested the people to keep social functions small\nand invite a limited number of guests only. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The officials said that three people have been tested\npositive for Coronavirus in Rajasthan. Over 3 lakh people have been screened so\nfar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere is no need for people to panic. These measures have been\ntaken to ensure the spread of the virus. Only 3 cases have been detected and we\nbelieve the situation is under control.
