The IT department had carried out a survey at the commercial establishments of two businessmen. The IT officials were allegedly pressurizing the businessmen to pay a bribe of Rs 20 lakh. Further investigation is going on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IT survey was carried out on March 5 and March 6. The department\nallegedly found undisclosed assets worth Rs 3 crore. Sources said that the\nofficials offered to show a reduced amount of undisclosed assets and demanded\nRs 20 lakh as bribe for this. The role of a CA also surfaced during\ninvestigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the businessmen who was being harassed by the IT\nofficials approached the CBI and lodged a complaint. The CBI then took into custody\nthree officials and the CA for interrogation. It was yet unclear whether the\nofficials were caught red-handed taking the bribe. Searches were going on at\nthe house and other residents belonging to the officials, sources said.
