State election commissioner PS Mehra held a press conference on Thursday and announced the dates for the elections in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The counting of votes will take place on April 7. The voting for the mayors and deputy mayors in these corporations will take place on April 16 and April 17 respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe notification will be issued on March 19. The process\nwill be completed by April 7 when the results will be announced,\u201d Mehra said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the schedule of municipal corporation elections in\nJaipur, Jodhpur and Kota <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The notification will be issued on March 19<\/li><li>The candidates will file the nominations from\n10.30 am to 3.30 pm on March 23<\/li><li>The candidates can withdraw their nominations on\nMarch 26 <\/li><li>Election symbols will be allotted on March 27<\/li><li>The voting will take place from 7 am to 5 pm on\nApril 5<\/li><li>&nbsp;The\ncounting of votes from 8 am on April 7.<\/li><li>The notification for the election of mayors will\nbe issued on April 8<\/li><li>The last date for nomination for mayor candidates\nwill be April 9<\/li><li>The last date for withdrawing nomination will be\nApril 13<\/li><li>Voting for mayor by elected corporators from 10 am\nto 2 pm on April 16<\/li><li>The nomination will be filed for deputy mayor from\n10 am to 11 am on April 17<\/li><li>The nomination withdrawal till 2 pm <\/li><li>The voting from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm <\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jaipur: The state election department on Thursday announced the election schedule for six municipal corporations including two in Jaipur.
