Jaipur: The medical and health department in Rajasthan has issued guidelines to prevent spread of Coronavirus. The guidelines instruct traffic cops not to use breath analysers for detecting drunken driving cases. All foreign nationals arriving in Jaipur will be screened and if symptoms of Coronavirus were found, they will be quarantined. The department has also instructed all the government and private offices and institutions not to use biometric attendance system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A meeting to discuss prevention of Coronavirus spread was\nheld on Saturday. The meeting was presided over by additional chief secretary (medical\nand health) Rohit Kumar Singh. \u201cA letter has been written to the home and\npolice departments not to use breath analysers until further instructions in this\nregard. Besides, we have also asked offices and institutions not to use biometric\nmachines. The government offices have been asked to sanitizers for daily\ncleaning of furniture, floor, windows, doors etc,\u201d said a senior officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, a Hong Kong national who visited Bikaner for a\nday and stayed in a hotel there has tested positive for the virus. She was\ntravelling with a group. She was screened after she reached Hong Kong and when she\ntested positive, the authorities in Rajasthan were informed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The authorities have asked the management of Lalgarh Palace\nin Bikaner where the woman had stayed to seal the six rooms where the group had\nstayed. The hotel employees are being screened for the virus. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
