Jaipur: The Rajasthan government will present the state budget 2020-21 in the assembly on February 20. After getting a go-ahead from governor Kalraj Mishra, the finance department has made all the necessary preparations. Since chief minister Ashok Gehlot himself holds the finance portfolio, he will present the budget. Sources said that the focus will be on health, education and investment. The budget session will continue till March 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief minister Ashok Gehlot recently several meetings with the\nrepresentatives of the business community in the state and various social\norganizations in the recent months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A senior official said that the focus will be on making the\nbudget people and investment friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe chief minister has himself collected feedback from the business\ncommunities and social organizations. Several of the suggestions are being\nincorporated in the budget,\u201d said the officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is believed that many of the announcements will be aimed\nat meeting the promises made in the election manifesto before the Congress came\nto power. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
