The agency arrested the owner of Jagan Teachers Training (TT) College in Sikar after he was allegedly caught taking a bribe of Rs 20,000. The accused, Shravan Kumar Jat, was demanding bribe from a student to submit his attendance record to the Rajasthan University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shravan is a resident of Aloda in Dantaramgarh area of Sikar\ndistrict. A complaint had been registered against one Prakash Bishnoi, a resident\nof Jodhpur district. Prakash is a second year BEd student in the college. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPrakash told us that Shravan was demanding Rs 27,000 to\nsubmit his attendance record to the Rajasthan University which is mandatory to\nappear in the exam. We verified the complaint. During the verification, Shravan\nagreed to accept Rs 20,000. A trap was laid on Monday under the supervision of\nAdd SP ACB Jodhpur Durg Singh,\u201d said a senior ACB officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prakash came to the collage and handed over the bribe money\nto Shravan. The college owner was arrested and booked under various section of\nthe Prevention of Corruption Act. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the second major trap by ACB in the past one week.
