The Metro track work has already been completed. The work on the construction of the Metro station is in final phase. The trial between this stretch has been successful. Now the JMRC officials are waiting for a green signal from the Commissioner for Safety. A letter would be written the commissioner by next week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe office of the commissioner for Safety RK Sharma will\nindependently inspect the track, signal system, load testing and traction and other\ntechnical issues involved in the operation of Metro trains. When everything is\nfound to be functioning property, a certificate will be issued,\u201d said a senior JMRC\nofficial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The people have been for the Jaipur Metro trains to be functional\non this 2-km-long stretch for the past five years. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe believe that we will get the certificate by the end of March.\nIn February, the office of the Commissioner for Safety will inspect the technical\noperation and then we will fix the issues highlighted in the report. We hope\nthat all the formalities will be completed and the Metro will strt running\nbetween Chandpole and Badi Chaupar sometime in April,\u201d said the officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Metro is currently running between Mansarovar and\nChandpole. The extension work was inaugurated in October 2013. The work was to\nbe completed by December, 2018, but it got delayed. The JMRC missed the second\ndeadline also which was September 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe stretch between Chandpole and Badi Chaupar will have\ntwo stations.
