Here is the parking fee for bikes and cars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rs 20 for the first two hours; then Rs 10 per hour. Rs 50 for day-long parking and Rs 800 for monthly parking pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The traffic department will likely put restrictions on the parking on streets leading to Ahinsha Circle. This will be a big relief to the local residents and commuters who get stuck in traffic gams due to haphazard parking of cars and bikes in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The parking facility was inaugurated in the presence of UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal, transport minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas and several other dignitaries, bureaucrats and JMC officials. The parking will be managed by a private company Fintech Parkcon India Private Limited for the next 30-years on a public-private partnership (PPP) model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
JMC had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the company in 2011. In exchange, the company was allotted land for the development of commercial space. The company started the commercial development and earning revenue, but the parking could not be thrown open for the public even after it had been built and fully developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company will manage the parking space as per the MoU. The local residents demanded that people, particularly bank customers, should not be allowed to park on the roadside once the hydraulic parking becomes functional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
