The factory was being run out of a Housing Board house located in Jawhar Nagar area. The police have detained two people and are interrogating them. The factory was being run on the pretext of manufacturing Ayurveda medicines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ADG, crime BL Soni said that a complaint regarding the factory\nwas received from a Pharma company \u2013 Archies Life Science. The proprietor told\nthe police that some people were using the logo and brand name of his company and\nwere manufacturing bogus drugs at a house in Sector-3 of Jawahar Nagar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accused people were preparing bogus medicines for menstruation-related diseases. A special crime branch team was set\nup to probe the complaint and with the help of the local police a raid was conducted\non Tuesday evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNearly 2,000 syrups were seized from the\nfactory. The people running the factory were selling the medicines to an Agra-based\nfirm. Bill books and stock registers were also seized from the spot. Two men \u2013\nNarendra Kumar Sukhani (65) and his Agra-based partner Ravindra Pratap Singh \u2013 were\ntaken into custody. An FIR under various sections of the Drug and Cosmetics Act\nand IPC has also been registered,\u201d said the officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soni added that a Jawahar Nagar police\nteam seized the fake medicines from Sakshi Medical Store in Agra and detained\nthe shop owner \u2013 Arvind Sharma \u2013 for further interrogation. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jaipur: The crime branch of Rajasthan police on Tuesday evening busted a factory involved in manufacturing fake medicines.
