The court remanded them in police custody for further interrogation till January 13. Police officials said that more evidence is being collected against the duo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the remand application, the cops demanded the custody of\nRohit and Sourabh for 7-days. The defence lawyers however objected to it. After\nhearing arguments from both the sides, he court remanded the two men in police\ncustody till January 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police on Friday revealed that Rohit had paid Sourabh \u2013\na resident of Agra \u2013 Rs 20,000 to murder his wife Shweta Tiwari and 21-month-old\nson Shriyam. Sourabh used to visit Rohit\u2019s house so Shweta knew him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Sourabh went to the couple\u2019s flat on January 7 on some\npretext, Shweta offered him teat. Sourabh brutally murdered Shweta and smothered\nShriyam who was sleeping in one of the bedrooms in their rented flat in Unique\nTower in Jagatpura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He then dumped Shriyam\u2019s body near the apartment building\nand made a ransom call demanding Rs 30 lakh. However, the police revealed that it\nwas a supari killing. Rohit didn\u2019t have a cordial relationship with his wife,\nso he decided to kill her.
