SHO Jitendra Yadav had taken a man into custody without booking him. He allegedly demanded money from the man\u2019s relative to release him, ACB officials said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACB Add SP Mahendra Meena said that one Krishna Kumar Yadav,\na resident of Jhunjhunu, lodged a complaint against Jitendra Yadav. Krishan Yadav\u2019s\ncousin Sandeep had been taken into custody in a case. Both were brought to Narayanpur\npolice station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSHO demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh to release Sandeep and\nnot take any action against him. The SHO asked the complainant to pay the bribe\nto one Balbeer Singh Yadav. The complaint was verified by the ACB and when it\nwas found genuine, a trap was laid,\u201d said the officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACB complainant negotiated and agreed to pay Rs 90,000. The\nmiddleman was caught red-handed accepting the bribe. The ACB officials said\nthat interrogation with SHO is going on.
