All regional transport offices (RTOs)\nwill introduce digital queue management system on the lines of the similar\narrangement in the Passport Offices in order to make the process easier and get\nrid of the involvement of middlemen. The system may be launched by the end of\nthis financial year, RTO sources said. The tender process to set up and maintain\nthe system will begin soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn order to avoid queues at the RTOs, many people fall prey\nto middlemen. Now we will launch a queue management system which will streamline\nthe process to get a driving license at all the RTOs. In fact, it is being started\non a pilot project basis at Jaipur, Kota, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Dausa, Udaipur,\nJodhpur, Alwar, Pali, Sikar and Chittorgarh,\u201d said a senior transport department\nofficer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that the people can apply for driving license,\nvehicle registration, vehicle fitness certificate, permits and other documents\nonline after the introduction of the queue management system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLike Passport Offices, the people will be able to get an\nappointment online for a specific date and time. After the applicant turns up on\nthat specific date and time, he or she will be handled by RTO employees who will\nupload documents and process fee and other formalities.
