Jaipur: The demarcation of wards for two newly formed municipal\ncorporations in Jaipur has been completed. There were 91 wards under the Jaipur\nMunicipal Corporation. They have been divided into 250 wards for the Greater\nJaipur Municipal Corporation and Heritage Jaipur Municipal Corporation. The JMC\nhas invited objections on the demarcations. They can be submitted to JMC\nheadquarters and zonal offices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The wards have been demarcated based on the population, instead\nof the area. The smallest ward in terms of population is Ward No \u2013 55 which falls\nunder the Greater Municipal Corporation. It has a population of 8491 people,\nwhile the biggest ward is Ward Number \u2013 10 in Heritage Municipal Corporation. It\nhas a population of 16541.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Heritage Municipal Corporation covers the area between\nJaigarh and Jamdoli, while Greater Municipal Corporation covers the area between\nNeendad and Gandhi Circle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe maps of both the municipal corporations have been made\npublic. The people can submit objections by December 20,\u201d said a senior JMC\nofficer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Heritage Municipal Corporation covers the old city areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
