They\nadded that the SDM was demanding the bribe in a land-related case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ACB had laid a trap after receiving a complaint against\nhim. The agency verified the complaint and then laid a tap. When the ACB\ncomplainant handed over the bribe amount to Jagdish Prasad, he asked the\ncomplainant to put the money in a file, the ACB officials said adding that the\nSDM didn\u2019t want touch the bribe money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe ACB complainant told us that a land-related dispute was\nbeing heard by the Niwai SDM so the trap was laid. We verified the complaint\nand found it genuine. A team was sent to Niwai under the supervision of ACB ASP\nAlok Sharma,\u201d said an ACB officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The officer added that the SDM has been booked under various\nsections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and further investigation is going\non.
