The gazetted government officials have been exempted from this benefit. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot approved the proposal to offer Diwali bonus to the employees. It will create an additional financial burden of Rs 406 crore on the treasury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe employee with pay-matrix level 12 or below will get the\nbonus benefit. The gazetted government officials have been exempted. The maximum\namount of the bonus will be Rs 6,774. Those who will get the bonus include\npanchayat samiti and zila parishad employees,\u201d said a government press release.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Union Cabinet raised dearness allowance by 5% for\n50 lakh union government employees and 65 lakh pensioners, the Rajasthan government\nwas under pressure to do the same.
