Jaipur: A 25-year-old army jawan from Jaisalmer district of\nRajasthan – Rajendra Singh – was martyred in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. He\nwas part of a team of army personnel who killed three terrorists in ‘Operation Trishakti’\nat Batot in Ramban district of Jammu region. Rajendra was martyred during the\nencounter with the terrorists. The news of his death shocked his family members\nand villagers. His wife fell unconscious when she came to know about the\ntragedy. His 2-year-old son still has no clue that he has lost his father. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rajendra Singh was a resident of Mohangarh village in Jaisalmer. His body will was brought to Jaisalmer airforce station in an aircraft on Monday and it will be kept at the best for the night and then will be taken to his native village by road on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rajendra comes from a family of army men. His father Sanwal\nSingh Satta served in the army. Rajendra is survived by his wife and a\n2-year-old son. He has two brothers, but he was the bread earner for the family\nafter the death of his father. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rajendra was married three years ago. His wife Jamana Kanwar\nis in a state of shock ever since she was told about her husband\u2019s demise. Rajendra\nSingh had visited his village nearly a month ago. The relatives said that when\nhe left the village for duty after spending a few days, he had promised to come\nback soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief minister Ashok Gehlot, deputy chief minister Sachin\nPilot and other political leaders expressed grief over the incident. His body\nwill be consigned to flames on Monday afternoon. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
