According to preliminary reports, documents\nindicating ownership of assets worth crores of rupees were recovered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From\nthe Jaipur-located house of Kumawat, the ACB recovered 14 bank accounts in the\nname of his wife and son and two lockers. Besides, documents pertaining to six\nplots and houses in the name of Banshidhar Kumawat in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kishangarh\nand Rainwal were recovered. The wife owns two plots in Ajmer, and nine plots\nand shops in Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nathdwara and Jaipur. Agriculture land\nmeasuring 18 bigha is owned jointly by the officer, his wife and their son in\nBundi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe\njoint secretary purchased plots where he was posted during his 20-year service.\nHe and his family members owns eight plots in Jaipur where he was posted for\nthe longest period of time,\u201d said a senior ACB officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nACB recovered documents pertaining to 90 properties from the house of middleman\nOm Singh. The market value of these properties is believed to be Rs 7 crore. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACB\narrested Kumawat \u2013 joint secretary in mining department \u2013 on Thursday after he\nwas allegedly caught accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakhs through his middlemen,\nsenior ACB officials said. Two middlemen \u2013 Vikas Dangi and Om Singh \u2013 were also\narrested.
