Jaipur: The administration has revised the DLC rates for\nland in various areas of Jaipur. The DLC rates have been increased by 10%-15% in\nthe city. With this increase, buying home has got costlier. The revised DLC\nrates will be implemented within a week, senior district administration\nofficials said. The rates have been revised in the city after a period of two\nyears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per the revised DLC rates, the most expensive area is\nC-Scheme where the DLC rate is now Rs. 60,080 per square meter. In Civil Lines,\nit has been increased to Rs. 50550. About DLC rates have been determined for\n500 colonies where they earlier didn\u2019t exist. Besides, the DLC rates for the\nvillages situated near state and mega highways also have been increased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MLA Kalicharan Saraf, Narpat Singh\nRajavi and Nirmal Kumawat protested against the increase saying that it would\nmake homes further unaffordable for people. MLA Ramlal Sharma said that the DLC\nrates should be decreased. Many other MLAs including Rafeeq Khan, Laxman Meena,\nIndraj Gurjar and Ved Prakash Solanki said that the DCL rates have been\nincreased for colonies where basic facilities such as sewer and roads are yet\nto be developed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The registry fee is determined on the basis of the land\u2019s\nDLC rate instead of the market rate.
