Jaipur: The Palace on Wheels will begin its first journey of the season on September 4. It will leave Delhi with mostly foreign tourists onboard. The heritage train will entice tourists with its revamped appearance as the tourist department has spent nearly Rs 50 lakh on staging and interior designing for this season in 2019. The popularity of the train is growing with each passing year. It is evident from the fact that the train is completely booked for three of its rounds this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Palace on Wheels which represents Rajasthan culture and\nheritage is popular among tourists across the globe. In fact, 99% of the tourists\nwho have booked train for this season are international tourists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are very happy that the train is receiving so much\nattention for tourists who love luxury travel. The train is fully booked for its\nthree rounds. We have renovated the train with a budget of nearly Rs 50 lakh.\nRs 5 crore will be spent on the train\u2019s renovation for the next season in 2010,\u201d\nsaid Pradeep Bohara, general manager of the Palace on Wheels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
