The footages show the collision was so\nintense that it sent the two-wheelers almost 5 feet into the air. The scooty\ndriver, identified as Abhay Daga, was seriously injured. He is currently\nundergoing treatment in the ICU of SMS Hospital. His condition is stated to be critical.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the\nsecond mishap due to overspeeding on JLN Marg in the last three days. On July\n16, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinkcitypost.com\/jda-circle-accident-exposes-frequent-traffic-violations-on-busy-jln-marg\/\">two\nsiblings were killed<\/a> when an overspeeding car rammed into their bike at JDA\nCircle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to\nthe police, the mishap occurred around 6 am. The traffic lights were not operational\nat that time. The footages show the scooty driving towards JDA circle. An Audi\nsuddenly appears. It was overspeeding. It hits the scooty driver and then disappears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police have identified the car driver as Vikas Sharma, a resident of Sirsi Road. He was under the influence of alcohol, according to preliminary reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After hitting the scooty with his car, Vikas rushed Abhay trauma centre of SMS Hospital for treatment in an auto. The victim&#8217;s family members also rushed to the trauma centre on getting the information about the mishap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"413\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pinkcitypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/after-accident-sl2l282.jpg\" alt=\"Car and the scooty JDA circle accident\" class=\"wp-image-7251\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pinkcitypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/after-accident-sl2l282.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.pinkcitypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/after-accident-sl2l282-300x207.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption>The scooty stuck under the car.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Abhay is struggling\nfor life and his condition is very critical, the doctors said. He was being\noperated upon till the reports last came in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police officials\nhave registered a case against the car driver and said that further\ninvestigation is going on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the\ntall claims of the city traffic department about making JLN Marg an Adarsh\nRoad, the frequent accidents have exposed unchecked traffic norms violations\nand over-speeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 16\nincident also, the cause of the accident was overspeeding. Two brothers \u2013\nPuneet Parasar and Vivek Parasar were killed while four others were injured in\nthe road accident.
