The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC)\ndecided to make hospitals parking free. The decision was taken in a meeting of\nJMC license committee on Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thousands of people from Jaipur as well as other cities and\nstates visit government hospitals for medical consultation and treatment. Until\nnow, they had to pay parking fee for parking their vehicles outside these\ngovernment hospitals. It was a big financial burden particularly for the family\nmembers of those admitted to SMS Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPeople have to visit frequently to attend their family\nmembers and friends admitted to SMS Hospital and other government hospitals in\nthe city. They are charged a parking fee every time they visit these hospitals.\nIt becomes a financial burden. We have decided to make parking free for\npatients and their family members,\u201d said a senior JMC official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that the licence committee also decided to rein on\nthe practice of woods being sold at a price higher than the market price at\nfuneral homes in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have been receiving complaints that people are charged\nexorbitantly for woods at some funeral homes in the city.
