The only lioness of the park, Tejika, had died after\ngiving birth to three cubs last year. The tourists visiting Nahargarh will soon\nenjoy sightings of a lioness again with the relocation. In an exchange program,\ntwo lionesses will be brought to the park \u2013 the first one within a week and the\nsecond one within six months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A team of forest department officials and doctors including\nDr Ashok Tanwar will leave for Gujarat on Friday. The lioness will be brought\nto Jaipur within a week, sources said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lioness will be kept under observation for a few days\nand then may be released into an open enclosure with lion Sidhdhartha for\ntourist sighting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tejika and Sidhdhartha were brought to Jaipur in 2015.\nTejika gave birth to three cubs and died after suffering from a prolonged illness\nin January last year. The park authorities have been trying to bring a lioness\nfrom other zoos and parks for the past several months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three cubs littered by Tejika are enthralling wildlife lovers. The authorities have launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinkcitypost.com\/entry-fee-for-lion-safari-at-nahargarh-biological-park-in-jaipur-all-you-need-to-know\/\">lion safari <\/a>for tourists to sight the three cubs roaming freely in the park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lioness is being brought to Jaipur in an exchange program.\nJungadh will get eight animals including a wolf couple, hyena and a desert fox.\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have been trying to bring a lioness since Tejika\u2019s\ndeath. It took us a while, but we finally succeeded. The team will leave for\nJunagadh on Friday. Two lionesses will be brought.
