Jaipur: Associate professor of National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) Dr Govind Pareek died after nearly three days after he drowned in a swimming pool in the Janakidevi Public School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The death shocked the students and staff of this prestigious Ayurveda institute. The victim\u2019s brother has registered an FIR alleging negligence on part of the swimming pool owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident happened on May 30. The professor died while\nundergoing treatment at a private hospital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jankidevi Public School is in situated in Sector \u2013 19 of\nPratap Nagar area in Jaipur. The new swimming batch at the school started from\nMay 19. Dr Govind Pareek had enrolled and was going for swimming since May 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On May 30, he drowned. He was immediately rushed to Narayana\nHospital where he died while undergoing treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The victim\u2019s brother alleged that there was negligence on\npart of the swimming pool owner and school administration. He alleged that the\npolice have taken no action in the matter even three days after the FIR was\nlodged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The body was handed over to the family members after a post-mortem\nexamination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The student and staff at NIA mourned the death of the\nassociate professor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
