Jaipur: The Alwar police on Saturday held an identification parade for the\nidentification of the suspects in the Thanagazi gangrape case by the victim.\nThe identification parade was held for three of the suspects \u2013 Hansraj Gurjar,\nIndraj Gurjar and Mahesh Gurja at Alwar Central Jail. The victim and her\nhusband identified the culprits. The report will be submitted to the court in a\nsealed envelop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police had arrested all the five main accused in the gang rape case that\nhas taken a political colour. One more man was arrested for sharing the gang\nrape video on social media channels. Three of the suspects \u2013 Chhotelal Gurjar,\nAshok Gurjar and Mahesh Gurjar are in police custody till May 13. They are\nbeing interrogated by the senior police officers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police are trying to identify the people who sheltered these men when\nthey were hiding from the police. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rajya Sabha member Kirori Lal Meena and his 150 supporters courted arrest in\nprotest of the incident accusing the state government of hushing up the rape\ncase to avoid damage to the Congress before the voting for the Lok Sabha elections.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meena is demanding a CBI probe into the matter. He said that an FIR should\nbe registered against the police officials who didn\u2019t take action immediately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The accused spotted the victim and her husband on a bike. They intercepted\nthe bike and took the couple to a nearby isolated place. They tied up the\nhusband after beating him up and raped the woman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They made a video of the incident and shared it on social media channels\nincluding WhatsApp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
