The firing happened just 300 meters from the Sadulpur police station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shooters fired indiscriminately at Surendra, murdering\nhim on the spot. They fired at least 10 shots. The police have recovered cartridges\nand a magazine from the spot. There is no clue about the identity of the\nshooter, according to preliminary reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surendra owned a transport company and was a senior leader\nof the right-wing Hindu organization in the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident took place around 7 pm on Thursday evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three shooters were on a bike. They parked it near the transport\ncompany office where Surendra was working. &nbsp;They walked to the office and waited for\nSurendra to come out. As soon as the victim walked out of the office, they\nstarted firing on him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The firing in this densely populated area created panic among\nthe local residents. The shooters fled from the spot after the incident. Senior\npolice officers arrived at the murder scene and launched a hunt for the\ncriminals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A forensic examination of the spot was also conducted.
