These green corridors will be\nmonitored and managed with the help of a mobile application. The step is being\ntaken after several cases of patients not reaching hospitals on time due to\ntraffic congestions were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project cost is Rs 3.5 lakh.&nbsp; The traffic control room will be linked with\na mobile application \u2013 Golden Hours \u2013 for managing green corridor for\nambulances in the city. The step has been taken to ensure that no ambulance\ncarrying patients get stuck in a traffic jam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the police, the city has around 200 private and\ngovernment hospitals. The driver of the ambulance will have to fill in the\ndetails of the hospital where he is taking the patient. If caught in a traffic\nemergency, the driver can press the alert button on the app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The traffic police after receiving the information through\nthe app will either navigate the ambulance and clear the way with the help of\ntraffic police on duty. The <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The administration of the traffic police will also ensure\nthat ambulance driver don\u2019t misuse the service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Features of the mobile application: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The\nambulance, and the hospital administration will have to first register on the\nmobile application \u2013 Golden Hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The\ntraffic control room operator will have the complete details of ambulances\nmovement in the city through the application.&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;  If the\nregistered ambulance got stuck in a traffic jam in the city, the driver of the\nambulance will press the alert button in the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After\npressing the button, the traffic control room will get information about the\nlocation of the ambulance and that it needs help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The\ncontrol room will then generate a message to all the nearby traffic-in-charges\nabout the situation<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jaipur: The Jaipur traffic police is planning to develop green corridors for ambulances in the city.
