{"id":6805,"date":"2019-04-10T12:10:56","date_gmt":"2019-04-10T06:40:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pinkcitypost.com\/?p=6805"},"modified":"2019-04-30T16:24:17","modified_gmt":"2019-04-30T10:54:17","slug":"nirf-report-rajasthan-university-out-of-the-list-of-top-200-universities-in-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pinkcitypost.com\/nirf-report-rajasthan-university-out-of-the-list-of-top-200-universities-in-country\/","title":{"rendered":"NIRF report: Rajasthan University out of the list of top 200 universities in country"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Jaipur: Rajasthan University could not find a place on the\nlist of the Top-200 institutes\/universities of the country in 2019.&nbsp; RU was among the Top-150 universities of the\ncountry last year and ranked at number 79 in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (HRD)\nreleased the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) report on Monday\non its official website and Rajasthan university was nowhere in the list of\nTop-200. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the release, only two universities of the state\nincluding Birla Institute of Technology &amp; Science (BITS) in Pilani and\nBanasthali Vidyapith could make it to the list of Top 100 universities of the\ncountry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BITS Pilani ranked at number 23 whereas Banasthali Vidyapith\nnumber 61.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, MNIT in Jaipur has been positioned in the Rank band of\n101-150 and Rajasthan University of Veterinary &amp; Animal Sciences in Bikaner\nhas been put in the Rank band of 151-200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the officials, the universities are ranked in\nthe National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) conducted by the HRD\nministry every year. Ranking is based on teaching, learning, resources,\nresearch, professional practice, graduation outcome, steps in women education,\noutreach, inclusivity and perception along with others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The universities are ranked on the basis of these factors\nand their scores in different parameters, added officials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was\naccepted by the MHRD and launched by Minister for Human Resource development on\n29th September 2015.
