The two-day long festival will be celebrated on March 20 (Holika Dahan) and March 21 (Dhulandi).<\/p>\n<p>The state tourism department organizes an event meant especially for tourists every year at Hotel Khasa Kothi in Jaipur. The visitors to the event can have a great time playing with dry colors while dancing to Rajasthani folk music performed by local artists. You need not to be a guest of the hotel to be a part of the celebration.<\/p>\n<p>According to the officials of the tourism department, the event at Khasa Kothi on Holi is all about celebrating the festival with colors, dancing to cultural fork performances, enjoying traditional popular delicacies including thandaai and sweets followed by lunch and a lot of fun activities for the visitors.<\/p>\n<p>Khasa Kothi in Jaipur was built a century ago by the then Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II to provide a comfortable stay to the state guests. The guest house later was converted into a State Hotel and it managed by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation Lmtd. (RTDC)<\/p>\n<p>Dhulandi Festival (Festival of Colours) is celebrated all over India a day after Holika Dahan and marks the beginning of spring. On this day, young and old alike play with colors and water.<\/p>\n<p>The city experiences an amazing enthusiasm and grandeur during the festival.
