The voting for the Rajasthan assembly election 2018 will start at 8 am on Friday. The Election department officials said on Thursday that all the preparations have been made to ensure a fair and smooth voting. Voting machines have been put in place at different polling booths of the state. Polling teams have reported to their respective constituencies.
\nThe markets of the Walled City markets will remain closed till 1 pm. The trader\u2019s association has taken this decision to encourage people to vote. The ban on liquor sale and consumption has also been enforced in the state till tomorrow evening.

\nSupporters and workers are roaming door to door in their respective constituencies to invite people to vote tomorrow. Social media platforms are inundated with posters and political messages. The ban on liquor sale and consumption has also been enforced in the state till tomorrow evening.

No political party or leader is allowed to take out rallies or to conduct public meetings in the state. The campaigning will now be restricted to door to door and social media platforms.

PCC Chief Sachin Pilot reached Tonk after conducting a public meeting in Sawai Madhopur on Tuesday. Pilot is contesting the Rajasthan assembly elections 2018, scheduled on December 7 from Tonk constituency against BJP candidate Yunus Khan.
\nWhile addressing the crowd during his road show he said that the BJP government did not think of local businessmen of the region during GST and demonetization implementation. The voters should leave behind caste and religion and should vote for the right candidate.
