It\u2019s coming up near Mega Park close to Bambala Bridge in Pratap Nagar. More than 40,000 plants of 1300 different species have already been planted. The park will be thrown open for visitors in the next few days, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>The Botanical garden is spread over an area of 2.89 hectares and comprises of 1300 different species of more than 40,000 plants. Some of the plants at the park are such that you won\u2019t find them anywhere else in Jaipur. Some new species of plants have been brought from other cities.<\/p>\n<p>The different species of flora in the Botanical garden are being exported from Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Karnataka, Calcutta, Uttarakhand and Jammu, and Kashmir and among several other places. This mega park covers 8 acres with 900 meters of walking and cycling track.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the sections of the Botanical Garden include Laser Garden, Night Garden, Tropical Garden, Zero Fight Garden, Navagraha Garden, Nakshatra Garden, Ayurveda Garden, Butterfly Garden, Arborator Garden, and Green House Garden.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Bird Park developed under the Dravyavati River Project near Panipech in Shashtri Nagar was thrown open for people on November 1. It boasts of natural ponds, heritage waterworks museum, natural garden for migratory birds and 100-year-old pump house.<\/p>\n<p>Three mega parks boasting of thousands of species of plants, exhibition centers, audio video rooms and much more are built at three locations near Shipra Path in Mansarovar, Bambala Bridge in Pratap Nagar and Pani Pech.<\/p>\n<p>Landscape Park on Shipra Path includes cycle tracks, walkways, yoga pavilion, viewing decks, sit outs, open-air theatre and urban haat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jaipur: The first ever Botanical Garden in Jaipur being built under the Dravyavati River Project is set to become a major attraction for localities and tourists.
