Jaipur: Bird Park developed under the Dravyavati River Project near Panipech in Shashtri Nagar was thrown open for people on Thursday. This is the second park developed under the project that is now accessible to the public.<\/p>\n
Bird Park is going to be a major draw as it will boast of natural ponds, heritage waterworks museum, natural garden for migratory birds and 100-year-old pump house.<\/p>\n
Each bridge crossing from Bassi Sitarampura to Sanganer will have special lighting and play host to cultural and entertainment programs from time to time.<\/p>\n
The Landscape Park in Shiprapth has already been thrown open for visitors.<\/p>\n
The JDA has planned many yoga and health-related activities from November 4 \u2013 November 8 in the park to popularize it among people. These programs will be organized by TATA Projects.<\/p>\n
A Masala Chowk will also be set up in the park.<\/p>\n
Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje had inaugurated Dravyavati River Project last month before the model code of conduct came into force. It was one of the most ambitious projects of the state government.<\/p>\n
Three major parks are being developed under the project. While two have been thrown open for visitors, the third park \u2013 Botanical Park \u2013 will be opened by next month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
