Jaipur: In good news to wildlife lovers, Tigress \u2013 T-63 \u2013 has given birth to two cubs in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n
CCTVs installed at the reserve spotted Tigress T-63 with one of her two cubs near Odhi-Kho area of Lahpur range in Ranthambore National Park. Forest officials said that tigress T-63 littered two cubs recently.<\/p>\n
Two pictures were captured in the trap cameras. – one cub was walking with the tigress while the other was following her. The new litter will further boost the population of tigers in Ranthambore.<\/p>\n
A senior official of Ranthambore National park situated in Sawai Madhopur of Rajasthan said that the tigress gave birth to the cubs in Odhi-Kho area of Lahpur range. CCTVs \u2013 installed in the forest to monitor the activities of big cats \u2013 caught footages of T-63 with her cubs. The human intervention is very little in the forest area where the tigress gave birth to these cubs.<\/p>\n
Security arrangements were stepped up in and around the territory of the tigress. The forest department officials are trying to trace and monitor the movement of cubs.<\/p>\n
According to preliminary reports, the two cubs are healthy and a team of experts is keeping a close tab on them.<\/p>\n
