Hotel Diggi Palace will play host to this mega event from October 23 to October 26. Foreign designers along with weavers of Rajasthan will showcase their collection and creativity on the ramp. Many designers, models, celebrities and weavers from across the globe, particularly Rajasthan, will present their extraordinary designs and creations.<\/p>\n<p>Rajasthan Heritage Week 2018 will host 20 designers and 15 weavers from around the world who will showcase their creativity on the ramp with handmade creations based on \u2018Handmade in Rajasthan\u2019 theme.<\/p>\n<p>Director of the show Prasad Bidapa said that training to rural women in Rajasthan including Sawai Madhopur and Jaipur is being given by the Diya Kumari Foundation in the fields of design and stitching to make them self-reliant.<\/p>\n<p>Several collections such as Saree, Ghaghara, Skirts designed by the women trained by Diya Kumari Foundation will be showcased on the ramp with the \u2018Handmade in Rajasthan\u2019 theme.<\/p>\n<p>The styles to be the main attractions include traditional border block print of Saree, hand embroidery and zardosi work.<\/p>\n<p>The creativity of weavers, designers and young artisans from different parts along with hand-made products, toys and souvenirs prepared by woman belonging to rural areas of Rajasthan will be given a platform through exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p>More than 25 designers and 20 weavers of Rajasthan will showcase their khadi-based designs in the event. Designers from Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore along with Rajasthan will present styles for festive, winter and bridal couture including Kota Doria, Cotton Khadi, Khadi Woolen, Khadi Silk, and Linen styles.<\/p>\n<p>Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje introduced the Handmade in Rajasthan project to popularize locally woven Khadi and Kota Doria amongst designers all over India and the World.<\/p>\n<p>Princess Diya Kumari Foundation Society (PDKF) is a social outreach initiative founded by Princess Diya Kumari in Jaipur. PDKF is a non-government organization, established in 2013.
