Jaipur: The final lists of student leaders who will contest the Jai Narayan Vyas University (JNVU) student unions election 2018 in Jodhpur was announced on Thursday. Four candidates are contesting for the president\u2019s post, seven for senior vice president\u2019s post, four for general secretary and three for joint secretary.<\/p>\n

According to University administration, a total of 47 nominations were filed. Of them, 29 candidates withdrew their nominations. Some others were disqualified by the administration on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) candidates who will contest JNVU elections are Mool Singh Rathore for President post, Bablu Solanki for General Secretary post and Vikas for Joint Secretary post.<\/p>\n

National Students Union of India (NSUI) candidates are Sunil Choudhary (President), Praveen Kumar Meghwal (Senior Vice President), Somesh Solanki (General Secretary) and Manish Bishnoi (Joint Secretary).<\/p>\n

Students Federation of India (SFI) candidates are Damaram (President), Naved Baksh (Senior Vice President), Kavita Chauhan (General Secretary) and Mamta Kandara (Joint Secretary)
\nAll India Students Federation (AISF) candidate is Arvind Singh Rajpurohit for President post.<\/p>\n

JNVU Vice Chancellor Radhey Shyam Sharma has instructed Registrar BL Sandu and Chief Election Officer Awdesh Sharma to impose the recommendations of the Lyngdoh Committee in the student assembly elections. At the same time, the university officials have initiated the removal of posters and hoardings from the campus on the instructions of the Vice Chancellor.<\/p>\n

The student union election 2018 will be held at JNVU Jodhpur on September 10 and results for the election will be declared on September 11 for all the universities in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n
