Jaipur: The second round of state\u2019s NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) Counselling 2018 was conducted from August 9 to August 13. Five government medical colleges have been allotted 15% NRI (Non-resident Indian) seats. Out of 72 NRI seats, 41 are still vacant after the second round of NEET counselling. These vacant seats have been converted into payment seats for the Indian students. This time the admission cut off rank was 13,252.<\/p>\n

The eligibility criteria for the students from general category was 50 percentile and for the reserved category, it was 40 percentile. Mop up round of the NEET Counselling 2018 will be held on August 21.<\/p>\n

According to the Medical Education Department, reserved category candidates who had achieved up to AIR 7304 were allotted a medical seat in 2017.<\/p>\n

In 2016-17, the candidates who had scored 18% to 20% marks were allotted medical seats in NEET. But this time the eligibility criteria got reduced to 16%. The candidates who scored 16% marks were allotted a medical seats in government medical colleges.<\/p>\n
