The accused had accepted the bribe for changing land use of a residential plot.<\/p>\n<p>According to an ACB official, the trap was laid at Babita\u2019s house in Gyanchand Sinhal Nagar in Beawar town in Ajmer district after the agency received two different complaints from Dr Rajeev Jain, owner of a hospital and parshad Gurubachan Singh Chhabada.<\/p>\n<p>Babita Chouhan was allegedly demanding ownership of two shops in a commercial complex building being built by parshad Chandraprakash. She was also demanding a bribe of Rs 3.50 lakh for changing land use of a residential plot owned by Dr Jain.<\/p>\n<p>After receiving the complaints, ACB verified them. Babita agreed to accept ownership of a shop in the complaint related to the commercial complex and Rs 2.5 lakh from Dr Jain.<\/p>\n<p>When Dr Rajeev Jain went to the chairperson\u2019s house, she accepted the cash and handed it over to her brother-in-law Shivprasad. When the ACB team tried to catch Shivprasad, he tried to flee from the house, but he was taken into custody. The team arrested Babita and Shivprasad. The husband Narendra was also arrested for his alleged role as a mediator. The trio has been booked under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
