A total of 11 people including an ASP sustained injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The stone pelting incident triggered tension in the town. Miscreants indulged in arson and also ransacked some shops, according to preliminary reports. The police had to resort to minor lathicharge to disperse the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>Senior police officers including SP, Tonk Yogesh Dadhich and ASP Avinash Kumar Sharma supervised the law and order situation. Sharma reportedly sustained minor injuries. The administration clamped section 144 of CrPC banning gathering of five or more people. Eleven people including three policemen were admitted to a hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>District collector Suber Singh also arrived at the spot and appealed for peace and harmony. He held talks with people from different communities.<\/p>\n<p>According to preliminary reports, the rally was being taken out through the main markets of the town in the evening. When the rally was passing through Bada Kunwa area, some unidentified people started pelting stones, leading to a chaos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe situation is under control. We are taking steps to maintain law and order,\u201d a senior police officer said.<\/p>\n<p>Heavy police force was deployed in the town, particularly communally sensitive areas.
