The accused officer was allegedly demanding bribe to make corrections in an electricity bill. He has been booked under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Further investigation is going on, said an ACB officer.<\/p>\n<p>One Shrawan Ram had approached the ACB and lodged a complaint against Mahendra Meena, ACB officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The Discom had sent an inflated electricity bill. Shrawan Ram approached Meena for a correction. The officer allegedly demanded a bribe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe laid the trap after verifying the complaint. The officer accepted Rs 10,000 from our complainant at the time of verification,\u201d said the officer.<\/p>\n<p>The officer added that the trap was organized on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeena was caught red-handed accepting the bribe.
