These smart poles will be equipped with smart lights also. Every third pole at the riverfront will be a smart pole. A final decision on whether the wi-fi service will be charged or not is yet to be taken.<\/p>\n<p>JDA tasked the Tata Projects with the work of Dravyavati riverfront project for Rs. 1470 crores in April 2016. The work is expected to be completed by August 2018.<\/p>\n<p>JDA proposed the service of wi-fi here so that people can use their mobile or laptop. There will be cameras mounted on the smart pole to keep an eye on the entire riverfront. It will be monitored by both the JDA as well as the police.<\/p>\n<p>Entry points to enter the riverfront will be available at a distance of every one km. Attempts are also being made to link these entry points to the main streets of the surrounding colonies. For this JDA will have to use the government land.<\/p>\n<p>The main purpose of creating this riverfront is developing it as a tourist destination on the lines of the Gujarat\u2019s Sabarmati River. The river originates in Jaisalya village, on the western slope of Amber hills and flows through the Jaipur city, north to south over a length of 47.5 km to meet Dhund River.<\/p>\n<p>About 35% of the work has been completed and Rs 450 crores have already been paid thus far.
