The efforts to make it a global attraction have also gained momentum with the launch of the leopard project. The forest department has now announced that tourists will be able enjoy full day safari in the forest as well as explore its most scenic spot on the hills, the Shikar Hodi.<\/p>\n<p>Dheerendra Godha and Sunil Mehta have been engaged in the conversation of leopards here. The forest and environment minister Gajendra Singh Khinwsar said that that the efforts of the state government will soon make Jhalana a world-famous destination.<\/p>\n<p>The forest is located close to Jaipur city and is easily accessible. It provides a great opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts and tourists alike to explore its beauty and sight the leopards in their habitat.<\/p>\n<p>According to the minister, the officials have adopted stricter measures to ensure the forest is well maintained. They are constantly keeping a close eye on the cutting of grass to ensure that the greenery doesn\u2019t get depleted. Efforts to bring other animals have also been successful and now there are plans to bring wild boars from the Sariska National Park.<\/p>\n<p>The fencing and construction of a wall are also underway and will ensure the safety of animals, he said adding that Illegal entry into the park was being monitored and dealt with by the forest officials.<\/p>\n<p>Jhalana had two safari tracks however a third track has recently been thrown open for tourists. This 7-km track will start from the main gate and pass through the shooting range.
