The fifth edition of this exciting festival will be held at Ravindra Manch from <span data-term=\"goog_4234001\">December 14 to 18<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The concept of live art has been once again been included in the list of events. Artists from India as well as other parts of the world will showcase a variety of art expressions. It will be a unique experience for Jaipurites to view these art forms.<\/p>\n<p>The live art category includes four artists from India while one each from Bangladesh, Japan, Nepal, Germany, and Poland. These artists will use their body to display a canvas showcasing different human emotions, artistic expressions, and cultural symbols. These artists will use different colors on their body to showcase creativity. They will also use this live art form to give social messages as well.<\/p>\n<p>The live art will be performed outdoors on the premises of the Ravindra Manch. This will ensure that visitors can get the best possible view. The live art performers from India are Manas Acharya, Murari Jha, Raghu Wadewar, and Smita Kariappa.<\/p>\n<p>The 2016 edition of this festival was a successful one, however, did witness some controversy. A mob had attacked the venue in protest against an \u201cobscene\u201d painting showcased at the gallery. Vandals also misbehaved with and injured a London-based artist Radha Binod Sharma and took away the painting. The painting was later returned to the festival organizers later.<\/p>\n<p>On the positive side, the festival saw the involvement of people and organizations from all walks of life. Children\u2019s painting competition was supported UNICE while local real estate players offered their properties for organizing art camps.
