Ganpat allegedly hatched a conspiracy to first get the woman\u2019s husband arrested in a bogus case of opium smuggling and then have Kamal Dan Charan trapped by ACB.<\/p>\n<p>According to ACB sources, Ganpat didn\u2019t want the woman\u2019s alleged husband Pankaj Viashnav to live with her. Police suspect that the woman, Zakia, started living with Pankaj when she divorced her first husband.<\/p>\n<p>Ganpat allegedly smuggled opium and asked Pankaj to be with him. Ganpat called up Kamal Dan to arrest Pankaj in possession of opium. With Pankaj\u2019s arrest, Ganpat managed to get him out of the way and away from the woman.<\/p>\n<p>But Ganpat was sidelined by SHO Kamal Dan who allegedly started communicating with the woman. Ganpat decided to get Kamal Dan trapped and persuaded the woman to contact ACB. She got in touch with the ACB through an agency\u2019s head constable.<\/p>\n<p>ACB on June 14 arrested station SHO of Rajeev Gandhi Nagar police station Kamal Charan for seeking sexual favours from the woman for weakening a narcotics case lodged against her husband.<\/p>\n<p>SHO was arrested after he was allegedly caught red-handed attempting to do objectionable act with the woman at her house situated in a caf\u00e9 compound near Chopasani Housing Board in Jodhpur.<\/p>\n<p>SHO, Kamaldan Charan also allegedly demanded Rs 2 lakh bribe. He in fact received Rs 1 lakh bribe in cash, and another Rs 1 lakh in cheque. He was to return the cheque after the woman had met his demand for sex. The woman gave the ACB an audio in which SHO could be heard demanding sexual favour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: Want to share this story with someone?
