Over 450 children are participating in the Summer Camp.<\/p>\n<p>In the morning, there were two workshops \u2013 \u2018Theatre\u2019 and \u2018The Story Tree\u2019. \u2018The Story Tree\u2019 is a 15 day workshop for children aged between 5 to 8 years. Conducted by Pallavi Singh and Gayatri Rajwade, the literary workshop is designed to inculcate among children the habit of reading.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u2018Theatre Workshop\u2019 there are nine groups for children aged between 8 to 18 years.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will continue till 18 June. The facilitators of the workshop include Padmja Sharma, Raju Kumar, Vishal Bhatt, Devendra Bhati, Lokendra Singh, Yogesh Kumar, Aayushi Dixit,\u00a0 Abhishek Mudgal, Anuranjan Sharma, Ankit Rawat, Hitesh Kumar, Nidhi Tamahankar, Yash Gupta, Kashish Bhatia,\u00a0 Anubhav Sharma, Aditi Dixit.<\/p>\n<p>A 3-day facilitators\u2019 workshop was conducted for the trainers by theatre expert Abhishek Goswami.<\/p>\n<p>In the evening there were Music and Dance and Visual Arts workshops. Under the Music and Dance arena there was folk dance by Dr. Roop Singh Shekhawat, contemporary dance (Creative Movement Arts) by Kamakshi Saxena, folk vocal by Parveen Mirza and Western Strings (Guitar) by Lavneesh Sharma.<\/p>\n<p>Under the \u2018Sound of Music\u2019 workshop the traditional Rajasthani folk instruments like Khartal (by Bhoongar Khan Manganiyar); Morchang (by Lateef Khan Manganiyar) and Nagada &amp; Dholak (by Gopal Singh Khinchi) were taught to the children.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, in the field of Visual Arts, &#8216;Caricature Making\u2019 workshop is being conducted by Sudhir Goswami.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jaipur: A month-long Junior Summer Programme kicked off at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) on Monday with enthusiastic participation of children.
