JAIPUR: Jaipur International Airport has witnessed an increase in the number of non-scheduled flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the month of May, a total of over 844 non-scheduled flights arrived at the airport, including more than 550 training flights and over 300 personal charters for visitors exploring Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a daily basis, an average of eight to ten charter planes operate from the airport, contributing to this surge in activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sudden rise in non-scheduled flights can be attributed to several factors. Firstly, the presence of training flights has significantly influenced the overall movement at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notable events such as IPL matches, political rallies, and weddings have also contributed to the increase in flight traffic. With the onset of the upcoming tourism season, it is anticipated that the number of non-scheduled flights will continue to rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, Jaipur airport has welcomed foreign visitors from various countries, including Europe, the UK, Vietnam, and Indonesia, who arrived via tourist charters. These visitors typically embark on a three to four-day tour before reaching the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To manage the influx of non-scheduled flights effectively, two ground handling agencies have been assigned the responsibility at Jaipur airport.
