JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Congress incharge, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, dismissed rumors regarding Sachin Pilot’s plans to establish a new political party as nothing but baseless speculations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a firm denial, Randhawa stated that there was no possibility of Pilot forming a new party. He asserted that Pilot and Gehlot would continue to cooperate and work collaboratively for the Congress in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further explained to the media, upon arriving in Jaipur on Tuesday, that the blueprint for a peaceful resolution was devised in the meeting itself, the specifics of which he chose not to disclose. He downplayed the chatter regarding Pilot’s new party as unsubstantiated speculation, fuelled by a section of the media and print newspapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on the recent reconciliation meeting between Pilot and Gehlot in Delhi, Randhawa informed that they had spent four hours in earnest discussions, which included contributions from party stalwarts like Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal. Both Pilot and Gehlot were advised that their united front was crucial for the success of Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In response to the demands for a committee to address Pilot’s concerns, Randhawa noted that the matter was under consideration by the party’s top brass. He disclosed that a vast majority of the issues were resolved in the reconciliation meeting, and all parties involved were in agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Randhawa reiterated that both Pilot and Gehlot were familiar with the peace-making formula, emphasizing their shared intention to work together for the Congress.
