JAIPUR: A 15-year-old student studying for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was found dead in his room in Kota. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The student, who was preparing for the entrance exam while in the 11th grade, is believed to have committed suicide, with early reports suggesting depression as a possible trigger. The event occurred in the Landmark City area under the jurisdiction of the Kunhadi police station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dhanesh Kumar, a native of Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh, had been residing at the Girraj Residency in Kota. He had been away from his family for a month and a half, and his absence is believed to have played a role in his deteriorating mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident came to light on Thursday morning when Dhanesh failed to answer his mother’s phone call. Concerned, she reached out to a fellow student living in Mahavir Nagar, asking him to check on Dhanesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bharat Sharma, the director of the hostel where Dhanesh was living, confirmed that Dhanesh had not been answering his phone. Upon visiting Dhanesh’s room, Sharma discovered that the door was locked from the inside. A grim discovery awaited when the window was opened – Dhanesh was found hanging from the ceiling fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon receiving the distressing news, the local police were immediately informed. CI Ganga Sahay of the Kunhadi police station confirmed their arrival at the scene and subsequent transfer of the deceased to the MBS mortuary for further examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dhanesh was the only son in a family of four sisters, with his father working as an electrician and his mother serving as a government teacher. According to the hostel management, Dhanesh had returned to his room around 8:30 PM on Wednesday night, after dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
