JAIPUR: A video has gone viral on social media showing three young men forcing a pet dog to dance at a wedding. They held the dog’s legs, causing it pain. The police arrested all three on Thursday evening and will present them in court on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The wedding took place in Nolakha village, near the Srinagar police station in Ajmer in April. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Srinagar police station officer, Rajesh Kumar, said the video was being circulated on social media and came to the notice of police on May 4. The young men were identified as Sher Singh (23), Phool Singh (25), and Ram Singh (30), all from Nolakha village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the police tried to talk to the men, they became confused and were arrested for disturbing the peace. The dog belonged to Sher Singh, who admitted to making the dog dance at a family wedding on April 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The three men, who work as laborers, were seen in the video holding the dog’s legs, lifting it up, and tossing it in the air. Police have arrested them for disturbing the peace, but they could face charges under the Animal Act if someone files a complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The station officer said that when the police questioned the men, they threatened the officers and claimed they could treat their pet however they wanted. Despite attempts at counseling, the men continued to threaten the police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
