Rajasthan Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh was the chief guest at the inaugural session of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly 11,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings took place at JECC, Sitapura, with 283 Inbound Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) from 56 countries participating as foreign buyers. The event also featured exhibits from major hotel chains, luxury resorts, heritage hotels, healthcare institutions, investors, financial institutions, national and international airlines, cruise liners, road transport organizations, and state tourism boards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International delegates from G-20 countries, including foreign tour operators, arrived at Gandhi Nagar station on the Palace on Wheels train. They were greeted by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) Chairman Dharmendra Singh Rathore and other senior officials. A folk performance was also organized to welcome the guests at the railway station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural session featured speeches by Secretary of Tourism Arvind Singh, Principal Secretary of Tourism Gayatri Rathod, FICCI Tourism and Cultural Committee Chairperson Deepak Deva, and other dignitaries. Two subsequent sessions focused on the role of tourism in sustainable and inclusive growth and the development of the tourism economy through destination management and empowered MSMEs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Great Indian Travel Bazaar was inaugurated at Jaimahal Palace. Notable attendees included Rajasthan Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh, Minister of State for Tourism Murari Lal Meena, Secretary of Tourism Arvind Singh, Rajasthan Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Singh Rathore, and other distinguished guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, a golf event at the G20 Tourism Expo will be held to promote golf tourism in conjunction with GITB 2023. Over 50 golfers will participate at the Rambagh Golf Course in Pink City, including senior government officials, diplomats, industry leaders, and women golfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GITB is a collaborative effort between the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan; the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India; and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The event is supported by several national and regional associations, including the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), the Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA), and the
