JAIPUR: The Vande Bharat train arrived at Madar station in Ajmer after travelling from Chennai via Chanderiya at 7 am on Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The train will undergo maintenance at Madar station, where security arrangements have been made. Various instruments will be installed, and the pit line of the train will be modified. The AC, lights, fans, and motors will be inspected before the train proceeds with its trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following maintenance, the train will undergo trials between Ajmer and Delhi, with speed tests taking place during the journey. It is expected that the trials will last for three to four days, during which time headquarters staff, mechanical, electrical, and other personnel will accompany the train. Senior DCM Vivek Rawat stated that any deficiencies identified during the trials will be addressed to ensure smooth operation after maintenance and trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scheduled trial run of Vande Bharat will be from Delhi to Ajmer via Jaipur, taking approximately one week at a speed of 72 kmph. The train will depart Delhi at 6:10 pm, stopping at Gurugram, Rewari Junction, Alwar, and Jaipur before arriving in Ajmer at 12:15 am. The 442-km journey will take 6 hours and 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The train will depart Ajmer at 6:10 am, reaching Jaipur at 7:55 am, Alwar at 9:41 am, Rewari at 10:48 am, Gurugram at 11:25 am, and finally arriving in Delhi at 12:15 pm. North Western Railway’s CPRO Shashi Kiran noted that the train’s speed will initially be low during the trial, taking about 4 hours to reach Jaipur, but will gradually increase to 150 kmph, reducing the travel time between Jaipur and Delhi to 1 hour and 45 minutes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
