The results were announced on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahendra Shandilya defeated his nearest rival Prahlad Sharma by a margin of 542 votes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahendra Shandilya received 1621 votes, while Prahlad Sharma got 1079 votes. For the post of General Secretary, Balram Vashisht defeated Dr Sanjay Khedar by a margin of 108 votes in a close contest. Balram got 1292 votes, while Sanjay 1184 votes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Election officers Gordhan Singh Faujdar and Paresh Chowdhary said that Narendra Kumar Tiwari and Shravan Saini were elected winners for the two posts of Vice President and Devang Chaturvedi was the winner for the post of Joint Secretary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hitesh Mishra was elected as Treasurer, Pramila Sharma as Library Secretary, Narendra Sharma as Joint Library Secretary and Shilpa Sharma as Social Secretary. In the Bar Association elections held on Friday, out of 5259 voters, 4494 voters exercised their franchise. After the election, the ballot boxes were kept under police protection and were opened for counting on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CCTV cameras were installed to monitor the election process and 100 police personnel were deployed to maintain order. An election team of two hundred lawyers was also formed to conduct the elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Bar Association elections, 29 candidates contested for eight posts of executive, out of which Manish Singh Tomar, Abhishek Sharma, Anjani Kumar Sharma, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Kamlesh Sharma, Jagdish Nagar, Satish Kumar Balvada and Sameer Sharma were elected on eight
